Maria Sharapova a remporté cette nuit l’Open d’Australie 2008 féminin face à la serbe Ana Ivanovic (7-5, 6-3). La russe décroche son troisième titre du Grand Chelem après Wimbledon en 2004 et l’US Open en 2006.
A noter que la finale messieurs qui opposera le français Jo-Wilfried Tsonga au serbe Novak Djokovic sera diffusée dimanche en direct sur France 3 à partir de 9h30.
